Social Bookmarking as a marketing and advertising Strategy

Today I’m going to examine and explain social bookmarking and how YOU can use it to advertise and market your online business.
First off it doesn’t matter if you have a work from home Business, a personal website or a large online advertising business, this will help you advertise and promote your website easily and to thousands or even millions of potential customers monthly. That’s way more then any Local newspaper and the best part is you are not limited to one city; you can advertise and market your website/Company around the world 24/7 sometimes with as little effort as sending out a Twitter Message or updating your status in Facebook.
Using Social Bookmarking you can:
• Get you targeted traffic
• Get you faster search engine indexing
• increase your search engine ranking
• increase your page rank
I will explain some of these in a later stage.
Now I will try and break down the steps of setting up and using social bookmarking into small and easy steps so you can follow along while you set up your own “Advertising campaign” in a matter of minutes.
First Step:
Set up accounts on one of these (the more the better) it’s really easy to set up and most of this Websites are FREE to use:

Second Step:
You should start following some people and companies that share the same interests (not that important as long as follow as many as possible) as you. In return most of the people/companies you will start following/Befriending you. And you are set, you see what happens now is each Follower/Friend that you have following you will see and sometimes read what you are currently busy with, whether its posting on your status window on Facebook Or updating your status on Twitter,
I bet you are starting to see the big picture here? If not don’t worry here’s an Example to illustrate:
- Say you are marketing real estate for a living or for an agent, you can now post any special Events and Promotions on your Twitter, Facebook or any of these above mentioned Social Websites and INSTANTLY you have hundreds of people reading it, and hopefully responding to it.
- Another example is: Say you have set up a new website and is desperately seeking targeted traffic to your website all you do after publishing your site is to update your statuses on the Social Sites you have Signed-up for and again hundreds and even thousands of people can see that your website is up and go check it out.
Third Step:
All you have to do now is keep track of all your newly created Advertising channels and update them regularly, this can be a rewarding experience, but can become a lot of work to manage if you have a great deal of social sites, so I would suggest getting a good Social Bookmarking Demon simply go to http://google.com and do a search for it,
GREAT WORK! You have just finished creating a lot of new advertising channels in a matter of a few hours.
